MCNS Fundraising
Fund-raising is a major responsibility of the PA. However, typically the money raised is used for special projects which enhance the school's facility. Projects funded in the past have included the playground structure, shelving and storage cabinets throughout the school, the library, the playground garden, the playground safety surface. Additionally, the PA provides funds to send two or three teachers per year to the annual conference of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Otherwise, the operations of the school are not dependent upon fund-raising.
