MCNS Licenses
The school is licensed by the Department of Health of the City of New York, a requirement for all early childhood programs operating within the city. Licensing is for a period of two years. The school also is registered with the Education Department of the State of New York. Registration, voluntary for independent early childhood programs in New York City, is for five years. And, finally, the school was accredited in June 1991 by the Academy for Early Childhood Program Accreditation (sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children). It was re-accredited in 1994,1997,2001, and 2008 .
